I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The owner, Jean Luc, was incredibly passionate about his property, and it shows. The hotel has a rich history, with beautiful rivers and a charming stone bridge in the rear garden. The original electric motor, powered by water from the river, is still intact and worth seeing. The room I stayed in was a quadruple room, with a large, comfortable double bed and direct access to a smaller room with two single beds. The room was spacious enough to have a sitting area, which was a nice touch. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a great selection of Basque cheeses and homemade jams.
No improvements needed.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a large double bed and direct access to a smaller room with two single beds, perfect for families. The attention to detail, such as air conditioning and insect screens, ensures a pleasant stay. The location, just a short drive from the motorway, makes it a convenient base for exploring the stunning Western Pyrenees. The breakfast, with its delicious Basque cheeses, showcases the local produce and adds to the overall experience.
All was perfect.

This little haven in the countryside was the perfect escape from the city chaos. The idyllic rivers and stone bridge in the garden added to the charm of the rustic décor. We loved the delicious Basque breakfast, especially the locally made ham and cheese. The comfortable beds and ample space in the rooms provided a great night's sleep. Adding to this, the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby attractions.
Honestly, we struggled to find anything we disliked about this place. Maybe the only downside was that we didn't have more time to explore and take part in the activities this location had to offer.
